Know the goal in Top-Down Racing

Try Top-Down Racing at your own pace and keep its objective in view. Travel five kilometres without losing all three lives. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Keep the instructions close while learning this activity. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

One top-down road challenge with traffic, collisions and a finish.

One thing to notice as you play

Locate the buttons and input area before beginning a long round. Use the on-screen labels to avoid an accidental restart. Make the next step deliberately.

The challenge in front of you

Travel five kilometres without losing all three lives. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Start with a deliberate move.

From the start of a round

  1. Start driving.
  2. Steer around traffic.
  3. Avoid collisions.
  4. Reach the distance target.

Input guidance

Pointer, arrow keys or held Left/Right. Start / pause and New round are available. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.

Try this example

Choose an empty lane early rather than passing through a car. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Keep the controls nearby.

An important reminder

This is arcade avoidance, not 3D vehicle simulation. Check the rule before repeating the action. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
